Today we started the chapter on transcription.
We discussed the basics of transcription in prokaryotes, including some terminology specific to the transcription process and features necessary for it (e.g. roles of promoter and terminator regions)
Reminders:
- Labs 2 and 3 are due today
- We have our first exam on Friday
